I’m not sure if I had just missed it, but I’ve been chewing my way through 7 Lamb Productions’ shows right now and they’re great. I started with tower 4, excellent show and just the right amount of “hmmmmmm what the fuck is going on here” that I love from horror and mystery content. Now I’m onto End of All Hope while I wait for new Tower 4 content, and it’s excellent. I’ve never heard an apocalyptic show be this good. Going to be moving on to their lighter stuff next, but those seem great too. Sick shit
S3E1 34 mins in and I CANT DO THIS I CANT DO IT
Saw someone call Mike shallow and they're just so wrong
Like, Mike finds purpose in helping others. Even in his writing where he is trying to process something super shitty he went through, he's living a fantasy where he still gets to save a kid he cared about.
Mike can't stop himself, either. It's his biggest flaw and biggest strength. He's spent his whole life trying to fix other people's problems.
Even with everything he's gone through after he took up position at Tower 4, he still can't leave knowing there might have been something, anything he could have done. It's the conversation where he asks Amber why she felt bad about the oil spill when she had no part in it. When he's talking to his friend in the bar about how he couldn't leave Mel. Mike is asking, "Why should I invest myself in this place when nothing here is my fault?"
But he can't ask that because he knows the answer. He's gonna help because it's the fucking right thing to do and because no one deserves to be abandoned or left behind.
Shallow? Mike wishes he could be shallow
While working on stitching Maurice together I was listening to this podcast. If you have played Fire Watch it's going to feel a lot like that, but the writer went on record said that the game was an inspiration. It's not finished and it's a little inconsistent to update, but it's nice in the back ground.
Me, listening to the music in this episode:
The scene it was for:
When your buddy won't stop flirting with you while you're trying to get help
How dare they toy with my emotions like this, I'm a mess
