I wonder sometimes if you are overcome the way that I am. To feel your breath sharp on my bare shoulder is almost too much. It’s like none of my body exists except that which is touched by you. Other moments, like seeing your lips full and slightly parted as you snore or noticing water still on your skin after a shower, are enough for me to want you want you want you. And I know I must be gentle with you and patient but oh I want so much more than gentleness from you.

The best thing is waking up to you snoring on the other side of the Facetime call. And me not remembering when you called or how I even answered. It's like a miracle knowing that I'll always wake up with you.

Idk what got me to think about you this early in the morning but I just remembered how hard I used to try to make things work and knowing it didn’t just idk it feels horrible… To have put so much effort on someone who didn’t even try as hard as you did. Like what the fuck was I doing. I know it doesn’t even matter anymore but did you even like me? Almost 2 years together but I don’t know if you really did or not.
