HAPPY ONE PIECE DAY’23 !!!!

Hazed in the lighthouse,

blindfolded by the sea. A Polaroid of leaking blood

under black fingernails.

They laugh like witches on broomsticks.

They pull the blindfold from my eyes,

wearing green velvet while six marijuana cigarettes burn between each girls’ lips.

They light one for me, placing it in my mouth like communion.

They are plastic iconoclasts that have stolen my faith in a god.

Lions tearing me to pieces in a coliseum.

I swipe the camera out of their grasp and it breaks apart on the lighthouse floor.

One by one, I cast them away into the ocean. They fall into the obscurity of the polluted water.

Waves carry them and toss them into the teeth of sharks.

I grab a marijuana stash from one of the girl’s purses.

I climb down from the lighthouse.

I run swiftly like an asteroid about to crash into a church.

I live under a blind, evil eye.
