Oh, thank you! 

They’re actually from different stories. Pride is from The Astramicans, Melanie is Recipe for a Poisoned Apple, Kiera is Dragon Tower, and Isra is... from a yet unnamed story that I’m just calling Dark Fairytale Story. (This is contrast to Recipe for a Poisoned Apple, which is the light fairytale story.)

But each of those stories are mixed fantasy/modern worlds. Like, fairies exist, and no-one has ever pretended otherwise. Super-heroes don’t bother with secret identities, people only hide their magic mirrors when they’re in the middle of exams, dragons catch trains. Dark Fairytale Story is a world that’s technically like that, only in the 22nd century. Isra is a wonderful example of the sci-fi/magic, as she used to be a cyborg, but had to have the cybernetics removed after she started turning into a wolf every fullmoon. (As there’s a bandit group known as ‘bears’ I’m considering some kind of pun about a wolf taking off her own leg to get out of a bear trap)

As for what they look like... I can tell you that Pride is a white girl who never stops smirking, Melanie is Black (and is described as the most beautiful in the land, although that’s rather a vague description), Isra is Arabian, and Kiera has dragon scales in random spots over her skin. That’s about as far as their designs stay solid in my mind, because every scene has their faces change.

Also, I may have looked up your OCs (please don’t be upset) and I’m really interested? Do Asiong and Arao get along? How do they meet Alisay? And can I ask exactly what the curse they have to deal with is?

Also how many different types of monsters are in the MMAAM?

Idea for a story: why the hekc did doom let jinks join the resistance and how did doom put up with him. is that why doom is gone from the stronghold so often. maybe

Unpopular opinion: jinks may be a terrible dude but there are a lot of ppl worse than him

Favorite relationship: jinks + poisoned cake

Favorite headcanon: jinks’ acrobatic specialty was tipping over the big guys. sharn’s infamous tower window move was learned from watching jinks. jinks saved deltora. unknowingly.

TOM

First impression: what a weird dude

Impression now: what a weird dude. i love tom because he thinks he’s a neutral party but he’s 100% on the good guys’ side. COTR was the first dq book i read, so tom’s shop feels like home to me. it’s a weird place, but a safe place.

Favorite moment: when tom shows lief and barda all the cool stuff in his shop

Idea for a story: tom, jack, and ava’s upbringing and how tom dealt with jack’s fall

Unpopular opinion: idek what’s unpopular in this fandom. it’s too small for that. maybe someone will disagree with the following: tom’s anime design is stupid? tom is supes important to the whole plot of s1 and s3? tom is fantastic? talking in 3rd person is completely extra?

Favorite relationship: familial: tom and ava (she was his ‘date’ for lief and jasmine’s wedding ok?? sibling goals)

Favorite headcanon: tom has the gift of foresight too, but it’s much more vague than ava’s

SKY

First impression: this girl will be the death of me i swear

Impression now: this guy will be the death of me i swear

Favorite moment: when he saves britta from falling overboard (& any time he breaks or bends the rules to get what he wants)

Idea for a story: all the SOD events from sky’s pov. i want to know what goes on in his head.

Unpopular opinion: i know lots of ppl ship britt/sky (i do too) but………… sky is too much like dare larsett. at this point i don’t think the ship should come to fruition. (i havent read the hungry isle yet so…)

Favorite relationship: the star squad brot3: britta, sky, & jewel

Favorite headcanon: not really but sky = ranesh’s long-lost mere cousin

Well, Lief is blushing at Neridah, so it’s a good as time as any to bring this up 

I reckon blushing is a Toran trait. Who do we know who blushes, flushes, or otherwise turns red a lot in the books? We have Marilen, who is definitely Toran. We have Dain, who blushes whenever anybody so much as looks as him. He is an Ol admittedly, but he is replicating a boy of Toran blood and Zeean comments later on that he looks very much like a Toran 

And then we have Lief, who definitely has some Toran blood in him, and seems to spend his entire life feeling his face growing hot 

In conclusion, it’s lucky your emotions are muted in the city of Tora, or else it would be quite a socially awkward place
