The Karaoke Legends apartment is now complete! I kept with the backstory that I thought up for them when I did their makeover, and pulled in A LOT of items from Snowy Escape to give Akira and Miko a taste of Mount Komo in the city.

Assume that any colorful decor was chosen by Miko, of course, the Queen of Purple.

I kept the layout as similar as I could to the original apartment, and added a laundry room upstairs. Since they're all starting out and had a minimal budget, I didn't go too overboard with clutter, etc. and even kept the balcony as simple as possible. My favorite spot in the apartment, however, is the cozy gaming and TV area in the upstairs hallway. While I was play testing, the three of them spent the most time gaming and watching movies together.

Description:

Without a doubt, the Karaoke Legends’ household’s 701 ZenView apartment has the worst layout of all the San Myshuno apartments which I have renovated so far.

A key change which I have made is creating a larger dining area (so that the household can sit down to a meal together)

Another key change is to reduce the size of Akira Kibo’s bedroom (so that there is general access to the balcony on the second floor). I mean, come on, the guy already has an en-suite bedroom all to himself. He shouldn’t hog the balcony too.  -_-‘’

I went for a modern, fairly neutral look for the common areas, to reflect how 3 roomies are sharing the space.

For the bedrooms, I let the individual Sims’ personalities shine abit more. Miko Ojo’s side of the shared room is cheery and colourful. Darling Walsh’s side of the shared room is all sporty. And Akira Kibo’s room is sleek and minimalistic.

Great acoustics at the new 701 ZenView 

3 bed/ 2.5 bath apartment with a party area perfect for hosting karaoke nights.

Akira, Darling, and Miko are a little cozy found family living in San Myshuno’s Fashion District. Akira works in game development and Miko in social activism while Darling spends her time on any available court after school. Miko started inviting Akira to hang with her karaoke club, but he’s failed to notice that only he shows up and she always asks him to be her duet partner. If only figuring out how to date your roommate was as easy as collecting donations.
