#7039 Kahnawake x Vox & Hops x iPA Podcast x Beer Brit x Fem De Bières Monstrosity: Youngbloods (Canada) OK so this is the second of the two collabs in the Monstrosity series, this one coming from Vox & Hops, iPA Podcast, Beer Brit and Fem De Bières. It features peach, mango, carrot, marshmallow and cinnamon, aiming to replicate a carrot cake - a bold and innovative decision. Coming in at 6.66% yet again, it pours like straight carrot or mango juice with a quickly dissipating head and a sweet, earthy, spicy nose, the body is creamy af, it’s sweet with mango and peach up front but the earthy carrot and cinnamon come through and kind of remove all that goodness, it’s smooth af, really crushable with a touch of vanilla from the marshmallow (I imagine it was intended to mimic the icing), wrapping in a kind of bitter, grassy, sticky finish. This was a much riskier endeavour compared to the Monstralicious undertaking so much respect, easily second place but a valiant effort nonetheless.
