#7058 Rorschach Pearl Clutching (Canada) It’s anniversary beer season! Rorschach are quickly becoming one of the most innovative breweries in Canada, and this gem from their recent batch of fire anniversary releases is super cool. Coming in at 6%, this is a bubble tea IPA with wheat, oats and lactose (ah ah ah), and it’s conditioned on black tea and condensed milk to give it that authentic bubble tea vibe. They even serve it on tapioca pearls in the brewery. Amazing. It pours hazy with a fluffy head and a sweet, astringent nose, the body is super creamy with the tea and milk hitting up front, it’s super crushable and the tea delivers a somewhat herbal, earthy vibe to a great base beer, it’s a touch sticky, balanced sweetness, wrapping in a dry, smooth finish.
