#7128 Sonnen Hill x Bar Volo Altro (Canada) Thursday night and I’m getting into a wicked crispy pickup from Durand Bottle Shop. This is a North American Pils collab from crispy lords Sonnen Hill and legendary watering hole, Bar Volo. Coming in at 4.5%, it pours clear with a huge fluffy head and a bready nose, it rocks flaked corn, Pils malt and Sterling hops from Oregon, it’s super crisp and clean with a great malt profile, there’s some light grassy bitterness, there’s a touch of sweetness, it’s really easy drinking, a touch peppery and lemony, wrapping in a dusty, dry finish.
