নিজস্ব সংবাদদাতা : কলকাতা লিগের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ম্যাচে রেনবোকে হারিয়ে লিগশীর্ষে পৌঁছে গেল পিয়ারলেস, শেষ ম্যাচ অবধি লিগের আকর্ষণ বজায় রাখল পিয়ারলেস। এ’দিন বারাসাত স্টেডিয়ামে রেনবোকে ১-০ গোলে হারাল জহর দাসের ছেলেরা। কার্ড সমস্যা কাটিয়ে এ’দিন মাঠে নামেন পিয়ারলেসের সবথেকে সফল ফুটবলার আনসুয়ামা ক্রোমা। যদিও এ’দিন পিয়ারলেসের হয়ে গোলদাতা বঙ্গতনয় দীপেন্দু দুয়ারি। ম্যাচের ১২ মিনিটের মাথায় গোল করে পিয়ারলেসকে এগিয়ে দেন দীপেণ্দু দুয়ারি । এদিন প্রথম পঁচিশ মিনিট পিয়ারলেস দাপট দেখালেও আচমকা খেলায় ফেরে রেনবো। ৩৬ মিনিটে চলতি বলে চিডির বাঁ পায়ের বাঁক খাওয়ানো শট পিয়ারলেস গোলকিপারকে পরাস্ত করেও ক্রসপিসের ওপর দিয়ে বেরিয়ে যায় । প্রথমার্ধের শেষ দিকে রেনবোর প্রদীপ পাত্রের পিয়ারলেস গোলমুখী হেড অল্পের জন্য লক্ষ্যভ্রষ্ট হয় । অবনমনের আয়তায় থাকা রেনবো’র বিরুদ্ধে ম্যাচের দ্বিতীয়ার্ধে আরও কয়েকটি গোলের সুযোগ তৈরি করেছিল পিয়ারলেস, তবে গোলের ব্যবধান বাড়েনি। এই ম্যাচে জয়ের ফলে লিগ খেতাব থেকে মাত্র একটি জয় দূরে পিয়ারলেস। এই মুহূর্তে লিগ তালিকায় শীর্ষে পিয়ারলেস। ১০ ম্যাচ খেলে ২০ পয়েন্ট নিয়ে। ১০ ম্যাচ খেলে ২০ পয়েন্ট ইস্টবেঙ্গলেরও। তবে গোলপার্থক্যে এগিয়ে পিয়ারলেস। দুই দলেরই শেষ ম্যাচ রবিবার দুপুরে। সে’দিনই সিদ্ধান্ত হবে কলকাতা লিগের।
