#7179 Short Finger Funks 2019 (Ludachris) (Canada) The last one for tonight is this 3.2% Berliner Weisse that was brewed for their Funks 2019 home brew competition (the winner was Chris Luederitz). It was aged 6 months in stainless steel, it pours opaque with a minimal head and a funky nose, the body is light and crushable, pretty damn tart with tons of lemony citrus vibes, it’s sticky and smooth, refreshing af, wrapping in a dusty, tangy finish. #7179 Bellwoods Monogamy (Lotus) (Canada) Belly’s Monogamy series is killer, and this bad boy is a 6.4% IPA with Lotus hops. It pours hazy with a foamy head and a juicy nose, the body is creamy and smooth, it’s kinda chalky and almost dank, I’m getting citrus and berries, pithy bitter grapefruit notes, there’s a touch of vanilla, a little herbal and grassy, wrapping in a dusty, dry finish.
