Off-Course Cambrian Coast Express por Jason Hood Por Flickr: 75069 waits to leave Hampton Loade with a train to Bridgnorth, Severn Valley Railway. The loco is carrying a Cambrian Coast Express headboard - the service ran from London Paddington to Aberystwyth and Pwllheli, via Shrewsbury from 1927 until 1991. Since then it has been used for various railtours and summer tourist steam services along the Welsh coast. 75069 dates back to 1955; it was withdrawn just 10 years later due to dieselisation and sold to Woodham Bros, Barry. It remained in the scrapyard until 1974 and was restored to service at Bridgnorth in 1984.
