You know what pisses me off?
Beer bottles that are 11.2 oz. I get it, it’s foreign beer delivered in a metric system.
I accept and appreciate the 16.9oz can because it’s .9oz over a normal pint here. Plus it’s an even 500mL.
I really appreciate the 19.2oz can, because that ends up being an Imperial pint…the standard measurement of ales.
I’ve grown to accept the 16oz can as that is what beers on draft are typically poured at.
I’ll even accept the small 7oz beer bottles some places use. A little bit of nostalgia for me because that was the first beer I ever drank. Miller High Life 7oz teardrop bottle, go ahead Google it. It was 1983.
I just can’t with the 11.2oz, why measure out 330mL? It just doesn’t make any sense to me.
Am I missing something from the metric system?
Please enlighten me.
