    madison  darling  made  a  grand  appearance  at  the  met  gala  donning  an  oscar  de  la  renta  custom  gown  .  it  technically  checks  off  the  box  of  being  on  theme  this  year  ,  claiming  the  design  was  inspired  by  old  hollywood  stars  such  as  jean  harlow  &  marlene  dietrich  .  they  say  the  devils  in  the  details  &  the  impressive  details  of this  nude  silk  -  chiffon  form  hugging  gown  has  got  to  be  the  70,000  swarovski  glass  stones  individually  hand  -  embroidered  onto  the  fabric  .  &  let’s  not  just  brush  over  the  fact  that  it  took  1,700  hours  to  handcraft  that  gorgeous  cape  .  that  artistry  alone  deserves  at  least  a  7 / 10  in  our  book  !  but  let  us  know  what  you’d  rate  miss  darling’s  look  this  year  .  is  it  giving  or  flopping  ?
