The GOT7 trademark situation.

So idk if this needs to be said or anything but I’m just gonna say it. I’ve heard a few people comment on the Got7 trademark situation. I thought I’d offer (to the best of my understanding) a full breakdown of the whole thing. With regards to the trademark law under licensing agreements yes JYPE does have to transfer all rights to the trademark and name of Got7 back to the boys. BUT according to a few people and DKDKTV (I’ve looked into it lol). Since JYPE created the name they have the right to ask Got7 to pay if they want to use it. Personally I think they’ll probably buy the rights to the name from JYPE when it expires but I just wanted to add this information in here. I’m not trying to crush anyone’s hope by saying this but because I’ve seen people be like “I won’t buy any albums till after the 19th when their contract ends” I thought I’d put this out here. Incase you want to wait till the trademark stuff has been fully sorted out so you don’t end up still supporting JYPE.
