Thursday 7th September- Monoprinting

I quickly painted the backboard of my cardboard shape with black acrylic and, before it had chance to dry, I laid a sheet of cartridge paper over the top and pressed down. When I lifted the paper up, the paint had printed in some areas. I drew in where the shape should be in a fine liner and added the detail of where the corrugated cardboard was exposed.

today is my birthday and i feel so lonely, like never before. i am alone and far from home, and the person i love so much forgot about it. i was not expecting anything but still i got dissapointed. i failed my exam few days ago and nothing seems right. i read a quote which said smth like “you will never be as lonely as in your 20`s” and i find that true. happy birthday to me.
