Yeah, that’s pretty much exactly what’s happening. I’m not sure if this is more or less shame-worthy than straight-up vore-eating.

Johnny! He’s my third favorite. Again, I tend to like more lighthearted protagonists, which is why he’s not #1 or #2, but his character arc throughout SBR is truly something special. Seeing a character go from a selfish jackass to a less-selfish jackass is nothing new--after all, that was basically Joseph’s character arc, too--but there’s just something about the way Johnny was written in particular that gives it a new shine.
