This one pound bag of cherry Jolly Ranchers is giving me life.
My little peanuts heartbeat! The sweetest sound I've ever heard 😍😍💕💕
I came up with a good plan for my appointment dilemma.
Breakdown: I have an OB appointment scheduled for 4pm on 4/3 and an Ultrasound scheduled on 4/8. They want me to come in on 4/3 10:30am the same day to do my ultrasound instead. They also said I can reschedule my OB appointment for 4/8 but that means I have to wait to get some reassurance that everything is ok and I don’t really want to do that. I have no one close to watch our toddler and the office is over an hour away. My sister is out of town over an hour the other direction but offered to meet us half way and take Kennedy for the day. Me going to the appointments alone while Bill watches Kennedy isnt an option for us.
My plan:
Call first thing tomorrow and speak with scheduling to see if they can move my OB appointment closer to the 10:30am ultrasound time. We can take Kennedy with us, but it’s impossible to take her if we have to wait there hours between appointments. This is the best outcome
If they are unable to move appointment on 4/3. I will have them reschedule my appointments on 4/8 so I can get them both done then. I already plan to get bloodwork done tomorrow (Monday) so I will ask them to put a second order in that I will do Thursday and I can get some reassurance that levels are ok and so is baby. This is the second best outcome
If they are unable to schedule both on that day and have to push it out further I will take the appointments on 4/3 and drive Kennedy to my sister in the morning. This is the worst outcome but you do what you have to do.
Plans always make me feel better. Also I felt physically like garbage today so that’s somewhat reassuring.
I’m so miserable. With Lily I was never sick at all, not even nauseous. I’m nauseous all day every day now. It’s awful and I don’t know how I’m gonna survive 😩
-New bean count- 7w1d
My little blessing has a nice strong heartbeat and measuring well at 7w1d. ❣ I am so incredibly blessed I cant stop being so thankful for my baby bean.
Second Ultrasound
Our second ultrasound was great! I cried as soon as I saw a small mass of cells inside the gestational sac. I cried because it wasn't empty. That's happened to us before - we were expecting to see a baby at our 2nd ultrasound, but instead, there was an empty sac. Not this time! They zoomed in and made some measurements. You could see immediately a little heart beating really fast. She said, "There's a baby! And a really strong heartbeat...see???" At 158 bpm, that is a good strong heartbeat for 7w1d pregnant. We are so relieved! We have also graduated from Shady Grove Fertility Center. Thanks Shady Grove!!! I am to make my first OB/GYN appointment within the next 2 weeks.
