i remember when i went to ucla (a long time ago) how much march madness took over our campus. and when i started working, clara, the intern whom i supervised, was so into march madness that she worked weird hours so she could watch ucla tournament games. i just loved her exuberance (evry now and then she would break into random 8 clap) and hoping that she is just as ecstatic re the recent ucla victories.

because ucla was not even in march madness tournament the last two years and had to beat michigan state in first four to even get in this year (and their string of recent losses before that), these three straight victories feel even sweeter. i really hope ucla goes all the way, fighting and rising like a phoenix! *8 claps*
