my sister and i went shopping together today and it was. so wild to just be like “oh yeah heres the personal care stuff that i want” like my parents are so negative towards caring about yr appearance. i literally couldnt be at the store and be like “hey dad i want to buy hair gel” or whatever hed laugh and be like “why would you need that?” and anyway she was talking about how she felt the exact same way and also helpfully directed me to the nail polish remover and cotton balls section in target. i love her lol

things I wanna do in Nepal: 1. find out more bout earthquake rehabilitation/recovery via speaking to locals. the class I’m missing next week is on natural disasters, risks and vulnerability. it’s great that I’m getting to see it first hand and I’m really hoping for opportunity to chat with locals. ethnographic study ftw, I love doing this sort of stuff 2. LIVE IN THY PRESENT; moments of inner silence; maybe find some spiritual inspiration 3. Perfect the art of "laugh off tension/misfortunes and go with the flow" to near mastery, I'm close.

Not expecting to be on much for the next few days. Running around like a madwoman to prepare for my great British adventure (which may get it's own tag seeing as I have plans for my british buds......a great many plans....
