Olive bronze and violet for Pheres

Olive Potion: …a troll they have a flushcrush or pitchcrush on, but haven’t told.

He has a crush on Imnots over at @impressiveaspirations! He admits it, sort of, in that he tells her that she’s detestable, there are slightly drunk car make-outs, she announces that he’s gotta put a ring on it they have to be kismesises because she isn’t that kind of a troll, and.. Pheres later does not think she’s entirely serious, courtesy of the whole “inebriated” thing, which results in him getting a gradual, sulky crush on @havesomefantrolls Lucina.

She’s a maroon and she keeps threatening to choke him with his own scarf and she runs a town where she’s the lowest caste and he’s not really sure he wants to kiss her, but he definitely dislikes her despite a tendency to make excuses to hang out near her for at least a few hours every time he visits the Mouth.

On the flushcrush aspect: despite effectively treating him as his boyfriend, Pheres has not actually admitted the fact he is anything more than moderately fond of Emerel, the guy that he is sleeping with, texts daily, and goes into a furious, hurt spiral over when he finds out Emerel didn’t think the relationship was exclusive.

So. UM.

He also eventually gets an awful, pale-red smearing crush on @anontrolls Kit. Pheres smears pale on everyone, including Emerel, so that isn’t new - but the flushed part comes as a deeply distressing surprise, because quadrant smearing is GROSS and he is BEING GROSS and oh god. (This probably is what spawns him introducing Quanin and Kit, in the hypothetical shipland. CAN’T SMEAR PALE IF HE’S YOUR FAVORITE PERSON’S BOYFRIEND, RIGHT? Right!)

He basically isn’t going to admit to the flushed aspect at all until, with Pheres’s self-sabotaging encouragement, Kit starts dating other people. At which point Pheres’s going to be a distressed, jealous mess and everyone that’s not Kit will have to deal with it. u n f o r t u n a t e l y.

Pheres deeply loves knowing things that he’s not supposed to, for all that it doesn’t fit into his ~good maroon~ goals. This means he fucking covets illegal information, and his desire to know everything that the Empire doesn’t want him to know is eventually going to bite him in the ass. The laws are there for a reason!
