one of my ocd compulsions is that sometimes if i have things upcoming that i'm hoping will work out a certain way i can't tell people about them or i will "jinx it" (eg. refusing to tell anyone my dream college's name or i wouldn't get in) (i didn't get in anyway). which is not fun but it is kind of funny in practice because it comes out like a permanent this
