   How many years have I waited for this show? Such a pleasure to watch Yoni tear across the stage like a caged animal.

so today...

i haven't done these in a while lol

it was the varsity vs. JV scrimmage and let me just tell you that varsity kicked out butts. ok. our keeper got hurt and so did one of the varsity midfielders, which was not a good thing considering that our games haven't even started.

test night .

it was test night at karate. my little people were testing for their ORANGE BELT. woooot woot, aiden and gil my little ninja <3 so proud of them, glad i can watch them along their journey to black belt. my protojay, was there also, provanni rann! haha he killed that test. shaheen the dream was my leader for the night. i couldnt help but be proud of this little guy. Z ! haha he did his best, he was encouraging people and i loved that vibe he gave off. Nicole, she tested for her orange white belt today. she was so nervous but ayye, she made it! i knew she can do it (: daisy did great with her self defense, and nearly broke my wrist; haha. my girl though <3 little paz did great also. haha you know him and his showoff self. even though he didnt break the board, he did what he had to do. and i cant forget Anthony Corrado. tested for him blue black tonight, and he did amazing. everytime he messed up he shook it off and kept his head up. had a little tear, my little man is growing up. gahh. im so proud of him. he did great.

The Perfect Love

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Galatians 2:20

Christ died on the cross to pay the ultimate price.

We hear about it all the time in church, but do we actually grasp the significance of what He's done? Not only did our Savior walk this earth among men blameless and pure, but He took the entire weight of the world upon his own shoulders. That includes ALL the sin of humanity--past, present, and future. He demonstrated perfect love by offering his body to be tortured to the point of death so that we can enjoy life abundantly.

Without holding anything back, without a single complaint or hesitation, he bore our shame. With boldness He took the pain that we deserved. I don't think we'll ever fully understand how much it cost to have our iniquities washed away. You see, there was no other option. No one but God Himself had the power to do the impossible. Only His precious blood... only His SACRIFICE could suffice.

Today we are blessed with the privilege of living as free men. How then must we live?

"...by faith in the Son of God..."

He has risen from the grave and now dwells within us. What an incredible gift that we posses. Literally, His spirit is stirring within us as we speak. Such a gift we dare take for granted! We too must learn to put to death our own flesh just as He did and let Him live in and through us, to demonstrate to the world what perfect love really looks like.

Lord, you are so, so good to me. Even now my finite mind cannot contain the idea of You giving up yourself for my sake. I owe it all to you. Please, make your home in me, so that I may properly represent my King, who loved me and gave himself for me. Because of you, I live. And because you have given me life, I will live by faith in You. I love you God. You are my perfect love.
