Billie jean, every breath you take, and pour some sugar on me for the 80's tag!
Billie Jean- what do you notice more in a song - the drums or bassline?
Bassline, for sure. I’ve been obsessed with basslines for years (and yes, admittedly with bass players too). I’ve had this discussion with a friend multiple times, he says the drums are the key piece but I say it’s the bass that holds a song together.
Every Breath You Take - who’s the first person your mind goes to when you hear a love song?
I guess anyone who has a S. O would immediately answer with “my S.O”, and I guess it does make me think of them, but sometimes some lyrics are totally not relatable to my relationship so it’s like “no thanks”. Is that weird?
Pour Some Sugar On Me - turn ons?
Anyone who understands literary/musical/pop culture references is a 10 in my mind. That’s it. I’m a simple girl (also if you have amazing fluffy hair and maybe a nice well kept beard and you’re 6ft tall and you’re my boyfriend. Hi Andy!)

Today is our 80s-themed pep rally, and I can’t tell if my calculus teacher is the one who wrote this or not.

there is literally no movie title sequence song that gets me as pumped as this movie title sequence song
1980s au in which Latula is THE raddest, Cronus is yapping about old school music while secretly worshipping madonna, Feferi is worshipped by her entire school for her hair and Karkat cries over Dirty Dancing and Pretty In Pink.
Sollux is that one hacker guy who only listen to Depeche Mode and New Order.
