Aviation fans, rejoice! To kick off its 80th-anniversary celebrations, Cathay Pacific has unveiled a stunning retro makeover for its flagship Airbus A350. The legendary "Lettuce Leaf Sandwich" livery—a fan-favorite Brunswick green-and-white design that ruled the skies from 1971 to 1994—is officially back in service! The first flight (CX870) touched down in San Francisco yesterday, January 6, 2026, marking the start of a year-long celebration.
