パワハラって本当に怖いです。昔、パワハラを受け続けて、自販機でコーヒーを買えないくらい頭がバグりました。自分が飲むコーヒーの種類で怒られるのではないかと本気で思うようになるんです。パワハラは人をぶっ壊します。皆さんがパワハラとは無縁の生活を送られていることを、ずっと願っています。

I’ve always been skeptical of the Vriska is a lesbian headcanon due to, well, the fact that she has had romantic relationships with men, and I doubt something like compulsive heterosexuality could take hold in binormative troll society, as someone who exclusively has relationships with members of one gender can simply chalk it up to coincidence.

Recently, I’ve heard it argued that her relationship with Tavros is an allegory for compulsive heterosexuality--and if that is indeed the intended reading of that relationship, it would be grossly irresponsible for Vriska to be legitimately attracted to men. So, can we explain away the relationships/crushes she’s had on male characters?

Tavros and Eridan are easy enough: she is explicitly following in her ancestor’s footsteps in pursuing relationships with them, and the desire to emulate said ancestor is the only force in her life that I can see being responsible for her suffering from compulsive heterosexuality, given that I continue to maintain that it should not exist in Alternian society as a whole.

John is somewhat more of a stretch, but not much, it turns out: at the moment she asks John out, she’s very desperate to distance herself from troll society and what it wants her to be, and the only other model before her is the human model. (Mind you, I say that as a Johnvris shipper of old.)

As for Nic Cage...yeah, I’ve got nothing. Someone else wanna give it a shot?
