Okay, after yesterday’s test walk for the 40k thing I thought I’d be stiff as a board but I feel mostly fine, except my shins hurt. Looks like that’s my Achilles heel, I have to figure out how to deal with that. But first I’m gonna give it a good long rest. Fortunately I have plenty of time to prepare. I still have a voucher for a video analysis of my running style, I think that’s gonna be the first thing to do cause I might be able to fix this problem by improving my form. Which I already know is... not great.
One thing I’m absolutely certain of, I couldn’t finish a 40k walk without any preparation. Not a chance in hell, I‘d just not be willing to fuck around and find out to that degree.
