For and explanation on what "8-bit gaming" is, see the article above. 8-bit boy gets back to the classic platformer. Jumping, shooting, and getting powerups. From 8-bit Art, to 8-bit sound, it's all here. Basically this game uses four buttons. Jump button, used stored powerup button, shoot button, and the run button. Get the 8-bit boy to the castle gates to get to the next level. Jump on those birds or shoot them to kills them. 100 coins gets you a spin at the wheel for a possible extra life or stored powerup. Fun Factor: Factor 7: An accurate recreation of of 8-bit gaming. Defiantly a love letter to the 8-bit era. Multiplayer Factor: Factor 1: Nothing but single player. Hey, if it had local 2-players, ( 8-bit girls or another guy avatar ) it would feel more like the game this game is hugely based on. ( Mario Brothers ) Ease of Play: 10: If you can operate a controller, you can play. Overall Score: 70 out of 1000: Not gonna find two players here, and the save system is a little wonky. If you have no more guys, it reloads from your last save spot. The beginning of the level. If you begin with 1 life, you die, then you reload with one life. Most people would expect another 3 lives. The score would have been higher if these were in the game. The game is only $4 on steam, so that's not a bad deal.
