8 things to love about Ore Monogatari!!
1. The exclamation points after the title!! Srsly that’s a dead give away that this manga’s going to be awesome.
2. The main character, Takeo is just so crazy cute and he doesn’t even know it and it drives me nuts!
3. Takeo’s bestie, Suna is cool. I-don’t-care-about-anything cool. But deep down inside he cares about Takeo and he loves and takes care of his best friend *sniff* in short, the bromance is spot on. #malefriendship #bromance
4. Yamato, Takeo’s girlfriend seems like the cliche shoujo main character but is not. She went for Takeo and did all that she can to see him again!! The effort! AND she bakes cupcakes who does that anymore? What I love about Yamato is that she is very capable of herself even tho she doesn’t look it, she’s strong!
5. I like the lovey lovey feels of Yamato and Takeo HAHAHAHA they are so hilarious as a couple.
6. Suna’s older sister. I like that she’s only a secondary character but she was given depth and a back story that glorified the main character (Takeo) so my love for Takeo increased hihi
7. The struggle is real. For Taeko who seems to be misunderstood always. For Yamato when it comes to love. How dorky dork Yamato is when it comes to love. She says her heart might burst and is that normal? Hahaha so adorkable.
8. The storyline. Boy's perspective, bromance, frienship, love. It's all there! It's refreshing in a sense that it is not like any other shoujo manga and we need that kind of variety people! You with me? Haha. Props to the translators as well! One does not enjoy a manga easily. Grammar and spelling should be checked else my brain just can't take it. So good job translators!
