“yayyyy!! you guys did so well!! i think you guys are good to go, does anyone have any questions?”
you had just finished reviewing the moves for the 我怎麼這麼好看 teams. it was 4 am and you were so moved to see the trainees working so hard to prepare a good stage for the audience
“actually, i have a question for you, y/n laoshi,” yu shuxin shamelessly announces with her comical voice and facial expressions
“yeah, what is it?”
“uh... what do you think about... kun pd..?”
the question was followed by giggles from the other girls. you were shocked, to say the least. you’ve been in a relationship with kun for almost a year, but you hid it so well that you never thought people would question anything. but there are always those fans who ship their idols for just staring at each other. of course you and kun had revealed to the world that you were ‘good friends,’ but nothing more.
you didn’t know how to respond to shuxin’s question
“uhm... i think he’s great!” you said, trying to hide the soft smile forming on your lips. “he’s really great.”
“...just great?” shangguan xiai butted in
“what about... cool? handsome..? talented...??”
you tried to keep your cool, rolling your eyes. by now, the ‘soft smile’ had turned into a stupid grin that no one could miss
“i think he’s...” you thought about how you could word this, knowing the cameras were rolling. instead, you brushed it off with a joke, “you know what, if i say another word, i don’t think they’ll be able to air this episode,” making the trainees laugh
you finished up with the class and said goodbye to the girls. as soon as you walked out into the hallway, you saw kun, finished with his class as well. he smiled immediately, trying to play it cool, signaling towards the camera and reminding you that everything was recorded. it took all of your self-restraint to not hug him and kiss him and ask him if he wanted to cuddle when you got back home.
