So a few weeks ago I got a "what's up" text from a number that wasn't saved to my phone but with the same area code I'm in. So I responded the usual not much and figured I'd get a response and sorta fish and see if it was someone i knew. Nothing, so I admitted to not knowing and still nothing. So I offered 20 questions. Tried calling to see if there was a voice mail message but nothing. Then left it with a meme of "not know when to leave the conversation" with Ralph rolling down the hill away from Lisa Simpson. I imagine it's some guy I talked to or dated and lost touch and didn't expect to hear from ever again. Clearly they didn't mean to text me so I've lost nothing. Anyways I forget exactly why but I started thinking maybe a one-sided conversation would be cathartic. To send whatever I want and not worry about waiting for a response. Share bits of my day, (big into flowers lately and I think my Instagram posts are getting monotonous) and (I like sharing music but people either don't respond or seem to care). I don't have feel bad if I don't send anything for days and I don't have to bother other people looking to be validated. If they choose to look then great and I won't know to feel bad if they don't. It's oddly nice it's going directly to someone. I'm sure this sounds entirely pathetic and quite fucked up on my part but I'm tired of the conventional meet people try to be friends or date and putting energy in to just have them fizzle out. The rejection has already happened and they'll just block me if I get annoying. I have no idea where I'm going with it probably just use it when I wanna share something but not with the world. Since I'm not entirely sure who it is I've no intention of sending anything inappropriate to a stranger but keep it light and sappy. Like I told them about how blue the sky was and how quick the clouds were moving with the breeze. This is unconventional and I'm going with it.
