9 DECEMBER 2014 || The Duchess of Cambridge along with Prince William visited the National September 11th Memorial and Museum and The Door and the City Kids Foundation on their third and final day while on their trip to New York City.

Naquela noite, na minha primeira festa naquele local descobri a árvore do Rei Leão, de como fico bonita molhada pós-chuva e avistei a minha próxima bagunça sentimental com seu black bem louco, um sorriso doce e um gingado de dar inveja. Era a mais linda e nem sabia disso, ria de tudo que eu falava e não sabia beijar sem encostar as mãos, falava que adorava me tocar. Depois nem sabia o que havia feito e queria me mostrar como ela era de verdade e foi assim que começamos cultivar uma a outra pra nos tornarmos únicas no mundo. Fui levada pro seu mundo e até hoje convivo com sua rotina despadronizada, mesmo falando que não é deste planeta. Menina engraçada, acha que me engana com esse papo ou talvez esteja só procurando o seu lar. Todo dia com ela é um aprendizado e nele ganho mais um dia de vida, mais um dia de alegria. E foi naquela sala, em meio a risadas, que ouvi que me amava pela primeira vez e eu já sabia, você me transmitia amor toda vez que me olhava. Só sei que não quero sair do teu mundo e nem do teu abraço.

So, I asked my mom why it affects so much as women when we’re presented with the possibility that we may loose one or both of our breasts to cancer or something else, despite the fact that we may not ever use them for their intended purpose (feeding children).

She said that while breasts weren’t inherently designed to be sexual, they still tie closely to a woman’s sexuality. Women are physically designed by nature, evolution, God, whathaveyou to have sex and produce children. She made a point of saying that that’s certainly not the only thing women are good for, but that’s still what our bodies are designed to do. She went on to explain that the sexuality of a [straight] woman [who wishes to have kids] isn’t just about sex, but also in creating and caring for life, because that’s ultimately what sex is for (aside from enjoyment of course). Breasts feed babies, and when that’s taken away it will undoubtedly affect a woman’s sexuality.

I thought that was neat. Especially coming from my ultra conservative mother.
