On a more positive note, my dragon baby is growing up nicely. I mean, they didn't dismiss their mum being toxic yesterday and today they didn't disagree when I used the word trans. They even agreed to my suggestion of using male gendered language for them, so starting today my dragonling is a he. I do want to help him transition. He was sometimes using male pronouns when I first met him; he was 16 back then. He didn't discard the nickname I have him – Johann – for fandom related reasons. I do want him to be happy and I think that self-acceptance is a good first step.

Also I found a rubber keyboard I want for Christmas and a spy pen *_* I am so buying it for my b-day if nobody else gets the hint. I did send Ivo the link, but I think it's over his budget. We'll see. It won't run away.

And I chatted with some nice people today. After ages I found my German pen pal online. I am so rarely on ICQ these days...

A bit of a rant about today, doctor's visits and ignorant people

So our health system is state paid and has it's flaws. And obviously asking for a boob reduction is a super horrible thing. But let's start at the beginning.

I woke up at 5am, to get to the orthopaedic super early. As I normally go to bed at 2-3am, this upset my sleep cycle enough that I wanted to puke for the next hour or three. (And after the nap I took back home.)

I got to the doc at 6:20am. There was a granny already there, but she finished her business with the doc before regular hours so I got into the praxis as the first regular patient. My doc starts working at 9am.

Meanwhile I took a nap and read fanfics. I didn't realise people don't see a person dressed in dark colours splayed over three green chairs, but they didn't. Two grannies were convinced I arrived after them, when I just sat up. Anyway. This was the amusing part of the day.

The not so funny bit was me asking my ortho to recommend a boob reduction for me. She got my list of back pain issues and how unsuccessful physio was in dealing with that (hint: it made it multiple times worse). I told her how my back hurts less, when I wear a binder, how I'm not able to wear a bra for longer periods of time because the straps cut in (she suggested a sports bra with wider straps, like I don't have that already).

The doc saw me topless and said “they aren't that big”. I mean, yeah. They look proportionate on my body, but that doesn't change the fact that I have bloody H-cups. With a band of 65-70cm, basically the smallest they sell.

I wanted to cry in her office. She send me to get an spine X-ray to check for any damage and suggested an attest from a psychologist, since I also mentioned I'm unhappy with the boobs.

So the next time I go to her, I'll have the X-ray and a nice love letter from L, my therapist. She should have in her files how happy I was when I switched to binders. Like I don't always get flat. I sometimes dress feminine. But not having huge boobs makes me happy regardless of how I present.

Maybe I'll get a note from my gyn too? She didn't say my boobs weren't big enough, just that I can have trouble breastfeeding when I have children. I don't care about scars or trouble with breastfeeding. I won't have children until my back is better which at this rate seems to be never.

I'm going to a trans support group tomorrow. A person there has contact with a surgeon. I'll ask if said surgeon does also consultations and how much it would be. (Here's to hoping it's free.)

Also officially looking for a sugar daddy/mom to pay for the boob job if everything else fails. I offer nice chatting and polite company. The surgery is around 2000€, which is not that much. It's just money I don't have.

I'm tired of people dismissing my pain and discomfort. I'm going to fight on all fronts.

Mas porra, chega de respostas baseadas apenas no que a minha imaginação cria. E vamos tentar se entender. Por mais que tu implore pra que eu vá e te deixe, qualquer um no seu lugar faria o mesmo. Mas nenhum no meu lugar faria o mesmo, qualquer um desistiria na tua primeira insistência, mas é complicado abrir mão de você.

Ele é totalmente o Oposto de mim.
