I asked S to give me positive feedback when he's teaching me to drive so that I know what I'm doing right. And he goes "well I'm not going to make up stuff just because I'm giving you constructive feedback." and I'm like "okay but you take little tiny things that I'm doing wrong and make a huge deal out of them" and he's like "yeah, because I want you to remember them" and I'm like ok.

Then he goes "you're really bad at driving, so I want to tell you where you can improve. There will be less stuff over time." and now I'm just shutting down at him telling me I'm bad. I'm trying!!!!

He's such a shitty teacher.

This panel sold me so much on the character writing and chemistry - just this level of like, “do a thing because I have an impossible justification for why you should do it” banter is really damn endearing. Almost tempted to read even.
