My favorite aspect of 90s RnB

was the fact that singing groups were EXCELLENT. Not only were their harmonies intune and their lyrics meaningful but every member could hold thier own. It just makes the groups sound better as a collective if each individual member can hold their won. This is drastically different from groiups today where one (maybe two at most) of the members can really sing. The rest are their to add fullness to the sound but are usually C level singers at best, CAn we please take a step back in the past and copy what theywere doin?
