"Path of* least RESISTANCE with you, Buckley."
**REVISED**
Also translates over as:
"You are my safe space to be who I am, without care or worry that you may judge me for being who I am."
At its heart, Eddie is telling Buck that being around/with him feels effortless and natural.
Eddie is contrasting his experiences with Buck against his experience with the rest of the world, which includes other relationships, i.e, family, friends, co-workers, etc.
Think of it this way... Every day, we all push against a certain amount of "resistance."
This includes:
· Social awkwardness.
· The need to explain ourselves.
· The effort of maintaining a "mask" or persona.
· Emotional tension and/or anxiety.
· fear of being judged.
Eddie in the most public way to Buck, that he is Eddie's "least resistance," it just mean with Buck, all of that effort falls away and Eddie can be himself in the truest fashion, and mostly to be his unfiltered self without feeling he has to perform.
