Our 1st #alligator sighting in South Carolina! This big guy looked to be about 10ft long and really enjoying the sunshine 🐊🌞 During our 2 hour bike ride around the preserve we even found some baby gators about 2ft long and watched them from about 3ft away after they got used to our presence. The Badlands National Park, South Dakota. This is our last national park stop for a while, so we thought we'd soak in the Badlands. We rolled into a back country camp after dark and were startled by a herd of near 100 bison running across the road, likely afraid of the spotlight I was shining at them. Oops! I think some of the leaders of the herd were a little mad at Betty and heard them grunting and circling her after we decided to park. No incidents, but finding the right time to go to the bathroom was a challenge!
