Clearing out my camera roll 9343/?

Something you may or may not know about me is that I really hate high necklines.  Like HATE the feeling completely.  Even just your basic t-shirt feels like a tight turtle neck, super uncomfortable.  I wanted to keep with the plunging neckline and I saw Vogue 9343 and knew that this was going to be my 2nd dress.  The first grouping of pictures were taken before it was finished.  Later I added in cups, and lining.

I did have to really adjust my pattern by adding lining, cups, and really adjusting the arm hole to fit more smoothly.  Mom also quickly crocheted a chain stitch a couple rows wide to make belt loops for the blue ribbon.

 I didn’t intend to change into my second dress as fast as I did.  My stomach was completely knotted up that I just didn’t feel comfortable and eating was just not going to happen that night.  Earlier in the day I ate, and I ate at the cocktail hour.  But anything more was just not going to happen.  So my co-maid of honor Melissa took me upstairs to pee and then to take breather.  At that moment I knew that the main dress was not going to go back on.

I really loved how comfortable this dress was.  It was light weight and breathable, and the perfect dress to twirl in.
