“i called you a cheater, haze.” the word repeated on her lips is filled with twice the amount of bitter spite as the first time—unintentionally, of course. the idol would never spew such words in a serious manner, targeting to truly hurt her friend. besides, seulgi knew better than to get seriously upset over just a mere game of tic tac toe; just a simple time-passer to keep the two idly busy while their ordered drinks were being prepared. with a bratty scowl feigned with anger, she dropped her pen down against the table’s surface, reclining back into the backrest of her chair—arms folding across her chest. “you cheated, you must’ve. no one can seriously win six games in a row like that, without some sort of help or something. this isn’t fair!”
송– ☁ ! “ OKAY... AND HOW DO YOU cheat at tic tac toe? ” the glint in hazel’s eye could be more attributed to mirth rather than mischief, laying back against her seat. it was her own idea to play the game to pass the time, of course – she considered herself something of an expert at the trivial game, as silly as it sounded. her jaw dropped in feigned surprise at the other’s words, a hand placed to her chest. “ isn’t fair? it’s not my fault i’m so amazing and unrivaled and – ” the intern couldn’t get through her sentence before she broke into soft laughter, hiding it behind her hand. “ no, really. i’ve just played it more times than i could ever hope to count. ” she leaned forward in her seat, folding her hands on the tabletop with an easy smile. “ honestly, i’m just surprised it’s been six games and we still haven’t gotten our drinks. should i call them over again? ”
