Resolution in 2019 is to keep my sleep right to help me not get manic. And to hone a skill (crochet, calligraphy, spinning, dance).
More sleep is always good, better sleep is one of mine too. And good luck on honing a skill!!

So. I just found out that my girlfriend is probably aromantic, and I'm uncertain how to react. We have established that we like each other very much, but I do kind of enjoy romantic dating and would miss it. I'm just not sure what to do. Any ideas?
Just because she doesn't feel romantic attraction doesn't mean she's automatically not interested in dating or romance. She just doesn't feel the initial attraction. Talk to her about what she wants and what you want.

Aww what happened, are you alright?
Yeahhh I'm fine. Just had some graphic porn popping up on my dash and wasn't expecting it to bother me as much as it did. It probably would have been fine, but I was trying to blacklist it, and it wasn't working right (even though the person was nice and tagged appropriately). So I think the frustration with that made me more upset.
It's weird because I've watched pornography before and not been bothered at all. But I guess now I know it strongly depends on just what the content is, lol.
I notice my asexy-powers are boosted more by cheesecake than any other, do most asexuals find they have a specific super-cake type? Do some have a kryptonite type cake (that would suck)
dry crumbly cake is my kryptonite

skelephantom answered: Hypothetcially, it would depend on why you were doing the challenge. e.g specificlly to have 50 consecutive b/p-free days , or 50 days free? 95wonder answered: yes
Thank you for your answers and support.
I want to start over, but I don't want to redo all the questions. I could redo all the questions, but it's kind of annoying. I want to move onto the next questions.... any ideas on how to format this now? You can look at my page to see how I've been formatting it.

I was put on citalopram shortly after my ASD diagnosis.
For symptoms of ASD? Eugh, sympathies.
what is your favorite piece of media currently and why do you love it
I’d have to say interactive media, such as video games and tabletop roleplaying. No surprises there, I bet (nerd alert). Interactive media is personal to the audience. It avoids methods and statements of detachment like “if I were them, I would have done X.” Its really important for people to understand cause and effect on a smaller scale from their real life. Within it, one is free to make mistakes and explore concepts that they might be too afraid to explore outside of it. I attribute roleplaying females and playing as characters interested in males to be a reason I was able to fight my internalized homophobia and come out as bi.
While single player video games will always have restrictions due to time constraints and hardware limitations, tabletop games can have as much freedom as the group desires. I’m in a group currently that has encouraged two newer roleplayers into admitting to their domestic abuse (emotional/verbal) and another’s suicidal ideation. Exploring repressed feelings is really important. Our minds don’t always want to accept reality, and it’ll push things into our subconscious to avoid confrontation; meanwhile, its wrecking havoc into our social lives and our mental condition until you’re either forced to confront it when you’re too weak to fight, or you let it hijack your mind and destroy everything around it.
That’s not to say that movies and literature don’t have their own benefits. I was a part of a play that had to deal with the Holocaust. It was because I had to manage through accepting the horrific details of the past that I was able to put on such a stunning performance. The audience got to experience those things second-hand, and see how large of a toll it took on just the actors, let alone the real lives we were portraying.
Passive entertainment has a valuable benefit that active entertainment doesn’t have, but I’ve found that active entertainment creates the strongest lasting effects on improving people’s perceptions and livelihood. Experiencing the pressure [pseudo]first-hand is second to none.
I’d be interested in other’s opinions on this subject as well!
