96 days to spartan
Its easter and its been a fun day. It’s also more commonly known as chocolate day and i do love my chocolate. Since committing to get myself into shape for the race i have been trying my hardest to eat clean and workout as much as I can. Until today I have been doing well.
I found a nice sturdy breakfast that I enjoy. It helps keep my chocolate cravings at bay with the chocolate protein powder, and also gives me more than half my daily fiber intake. my lunch is pretty basic, just a tuna salad and fruit and dinner is a recipe from one of the weekly food boxes.
I am still feeling the early starts a bit tough but i’m trying to get them into a habit. It is tough getting up at the morning but the energy pills that I got with my weight lose bundle from myprotein are helping a lot. I feel like I can do a lot more and my recovery time is less.
I feel a bit impatient. Like it isn’t going to work but i am really making the effort to get out of that headspace and into a better one. I only have 96 days before I face my biggest fitness challenge to date! I cannot self-sabotage myself. I just can’t. it is early doors of me being more serious with all the fitness stuff.
My goal for this week is to be able to jog 5km consecutively on the cardio days.
My training goal is to get some more reps in on the deadlifts and squats and hopefully get a bit better with the pull ups.
