D-day seems to be creeping up terrifyingly quickly.
Had a good week last week and a decent weekend. My twin was over as we had plans to meet up with our friend so I made sure that she brought her gym gear so we could train on sunday. Went to this amazing ramen noodle bar in town for lunch and ate relatively good all weekend.
However like all sisters, I wanted to see how my progress to jogging a 5k compared to her. She picked up jogging in january and has been doing it about 3x week so I thought she would have left me behind. BUT NO! Not only could she not finish the 5 k but she was a good mile behind in speed. She couldn’t understand how I didn’t want to just give up after the first bike track as her legs were on fire. I also managed to beat my previous time by 3 whole minutes! woo!
This weeks goals are basically just to keep eating right and avoiding the crap. running wise I am going to just try and get a better stride while out doing my little 5ks and for gym sessions it is to up my weights a little bit more.
I also treated myself with a few pieces of gym clothes that I can’t wait to wear and new lifting trainer ( £30 for nikes. Hell yeah!)
