What brakes are you running? Do you ever do touge? I’ve been abusing my kegacy’s brakes recently and I’m thinking about upgrading

I'm currently using the OEM Legacy GT brake calipers, generic ceramic pads w/ slotted/drilled rotors plus the Grimmspeed master cylinder brace. When I wear out these pads I'm upgrading the system to Stoptech stainless brake lines, Hawk HPS pads, EBC slotted rotors and new OEM GT calipers. I'm not going turbo so there's no need to spend thousands on a "big brake" setup.

And yes I hit up the touge in my area! Kinda the reason I started doin so much bracing and suspension upgrades. Here in between SF and Santa Cruz is the shit!!

Cusco V-brace for a GC8 installed with the STI strut brace from a GG Impreza on my 98 LGT wagon. A real PITA to get that bracket mounted and cutting a whole in the floor cover. But what a huge difference it made!! My wagon now feels super solid in the rear, little to no body roll, some creaks went away and bumpy roads feel smoother, kinda feels like I upgraded to a thicker rear sway bar. Hellz yeah!! (This should work for you SF/SG Forester people.)
