mingxia perked up immediately hearing the male’s words. her korean was incredibly rusty; most of the time, she’d rather stay silent. so when she does speak, she tries her hardest to pronounce the words properly, enunciating with all her might. a habit of hers is to add ‘do you understand?’ at the end of practically every sentence, just to see if people would get what she was saying. having the male process her words caused her to calm down, a smile forming on her face. “i’m glad,” says the girl. “after all, as people under the same company, we should all have each other’s backs, right? we’re family now.”
Listening to her speak sometimes is hard for him. But seeing the younger female try her best to speak a language that is not her mother tongue, he figured he should try to understand her better. And so he did, he listened to her, every word coming from her mouth processed inside his ears and surprisingly, he did understood and got her point. He flashed a gentle and friendly smile, whilst nodding his head. “Yes, we are family. And as a sunbae, if there’s anything you needed help with, or just a friend to talk to about things that’s been bothering you, or just plain joking around....don’t be afraid or shy to approach me okay?”
