I am unsure as it is to how people who do so little work can do much better than me. It pisses me off and I want to hammer them metaphorically school wise. Like seriously, hearing all these stories about not reading the set novel nor writing practice essays is creating a burning desire within me.
HSC results...
In honour of everyone on facebook being stupid and posting their ATARs directly onto their wall, I shall be incredibly sarcastic in writing this.
"Hey. Who would've thought? I got 99.95. And as a reward, my parents bought me a flying pig, a unicorn, and a mythical creature known as a BAGLE. Sounds like bagel, but in reality, its a creature a cross between a bat and an eagle. Doesn't do much, but when it does, it kills my enemies. Anyway, just letting you know..."
NOTE: MY ACTUAL RESULTS WERE NOWHERE NEAR AS HIGH AS THAT INCREDIBLY ARROGANT RESULT (if you read this and actually got that...well done. but your brain is arrogant. just kidding, you're just an awesome freak) AND MY PARENTS WEREN'T RICH ENOUGH TO ATTEMPT CROSS-SPECIES GENETICS. INSTEAD THEY JUST GAVE ME A PAT ON THE HEAD.
I KNOW, RIGHT!? SCORE!
This article makes me furious. A 'joint hyper mobility wrist' is it? What about the students who actually NEED special provisions. The SMH published an article earlier this year about a girl who was blind and studied for HSC biology using textbooks printed in Braille. Have you wondered how she got by? So medicine at Sydney Uni and 99.95 isn't good enough? And you could have achieved a 'much better score'? And what you received was 'what normal people would have considered well'? Does that mean you aren't normal? That somehow, you deserve to get an ATAR of 100? It's people like this that make me think it's better to pack up and move into a seaside cave for the rest of my natural life. She obviously have experienced no hardship in life if she couldn't move on front a numbrr that she was given 4 years ago. It wasn't as if she wasn't offered 'rest time', yet clearly that wasn't enough for her. Then she proceeds to insult students who have or need special provisions by saying that she wants her 'disability' to be sufficiently addressed. Clearly, having hand cramps is a serious disability.
