Unfortunately neither is very good at cooking, though Nine beats out Queen’s cooking skill by justtttt a little - a fact that he often points out to her, and one that in turn frequently annoys Queen because the thought of him actually being better than her at something is just not on.
Though they both love their sweets, so they’ll happily collaborate in the kitchen to prepare desserts and little treats like that. But because of lack of said cooking skill it usually ends in a food fight for them or licking batter off each other’s faces fingers.
All the time; their personalities and living habits differ quite largely from each other, so they often argue over even the most trivial matters.The fact that they’re both stubborn doesn’t help, with Nine’s hot-headed behaviour often coming into conflict with Queen’s cool and calculated nature.
What do they do when they’re away from each other?
Without Queen around, his work productivity drops and he slacks off from study and homework. He will also take naps or annoy Ace and King for attention.Queen will use free time to catch up with study and set readings. She might also create some new battle combos so she can practice with Nine as soon as he gets back.
Nicknames for each other?
Nine is the one to come up with cheesy nicknames for Queen, his favourite being “Queenie”. He also teases her with “Princess” just to annoy her.Because of her aversion to the nickname “Princess”, Queen has tried several times to come up with an equally annoying nickname for Nine. Unfortunately, Nine has happily taken on all the nicknames Queen has thus given him so far, much to her annoyance.
Who is more likely to pay for dinner?
Nine isn’t that good at saving money, so when he does offer to pay he usually ends up a couple dollars short. Queen will step in to cover the extra few dollars, or at least split the bill 50/50 with him so he doesn’t go completely broke.
Who steals the covers at night?
Nine has a habit of kicking in his sleep, so Queen tries to steal the blanket(s) just to get back at him. He ends up cuddling with her anyway by the end of the night.
What would they get each other for gifts?
Nine likes to get flowers because they’re pretty, inexpensive and the perfect gift to get on short notice because he’s prone to forgetting special occasions. Cakes and sweets/desserts also fall under this category.Queen, again likes to give practical things that Nine can make use of, though unfortunately because of Nine’s careless nature her gifts tend to be lost or broken.
Definitely Queen; Nine hardly remembers his own birthday, let alone remember dates, anniversaries, firsts and the like.
Nine, hands down. Queen’s upbringing is way too refined for offensive language; in fact, she hates it when Nine cusses (death glares ahoy) so he never does so in her presence.
What would they do if the other one was hurt?
Some of Nine’s reckless nature may have rubbed onto Queen during their time together, such that the sight of seeing him hurt would cause her to lose all rationality. She would cut down anyone who got in the way of her getting to Nine, even if it meant her being hurt in the process. After regaining her composure, she would work on healing him while berating him for his carelessness.Nine would react similarly, especially being protective of Queen. He would likely break away from a mission to put Queen’s safety above it.
Queen; Nine had first started teasing her with little kisses on her hand or cheek, but he soon became more bold and moved towards her nose and forehead. He never expected her to reciprocate the action, so when she suddenly kissed him on the lips (their first "proper" kiss) one day, it came as a shock to both of them.
Nine was oblivious to Queen's feelings at first, so she had to be the one to act accordingly. Not that she really knew how to act upon her feelings, so it would still be a while before the relationship started.
Who started the relationship?
I like to think Queen had to be the one to start the relationship too, because again Nine is clueless about how to be in a relationship. Of course, when Queen popped the question about taking their relationship further Nine had no idea what she was talking about.
It would be a good number of days before she started talking to him again and he was able to formally answer "yes" to her question.
