Found an old pre-end of C2 sketch while streaming so I finished it~~ And went ham on STARS
High-key the funniest thing was that it was always intended to be the scene where Essek sees the 9th floor for the first time. But the sketch is months old! I’d completely forgotten about original idea and I didn’t remember again until I edited in the stars ASDFGHJKL I’d just unconsciously steered it in the right direction
All I envision for the 9th floor of the tower is that picture of the Milky Way that's just stunning over the mirror lake plains, though minus the big band of the galaxy but just as many stars and semi-transparent visions of possibilities flitting across one another of the Nein adventuring together a la the opening credit song
my home! the beloved ninth floor
if you live at the 9th floor you survive! i used to think like that when i was a kid. this is one of the many advantages of living in a block of flats
//Hallway, the 9th floor. Apr 15.

Ria didn't like the whole division, us versus them, and definitely didn't feel better than them because she was friends with Sada. Of course, she had known for years that their friendship was invaluable; she gave Ria a job when she moved to New York and needed money, she found her a perfect husband, and now when the world ended, she ensured Ria always had everything she needed. But what made her lucky and grateful didn't necessarily mean the others were inferior.
So, even though Ria could enjoy the perks of being Sada's loyalist to the fullest, she still chose to bring her food downstairs and eat at the diner, with other residents.
With her tummy full, Ria gave up taking the elevator in favor of a little jog upstairs. She stopped at the door to her loft when she noticed a familiar yet new face in the hallway.
"If I can't draw you from memory, then you're probably new," she joked. She couldn't draw, let alone from memory, but it seemed a fun way to put it. "Wow, it's been a while since I had a chance to say that."
Someone at the hospital where I work climbed up to the ninth floor and jumped off the roof. She died and it the health system is covering it all up. No one is allowed to talk about it.
