I'm surprised that noble alphas have to remain pure and virgins until they're married. I love this dynamic change! How do Ontari and Costia court Lexa? Is Clarke always present during these dates?
Thank you, im trying to play with the dynamics and functions of this society. I am not going for a religious reason, it is more so to guarantee no bastard children as an omega and their children deserve the undivided attention of their mate - emotionally and financially, omegas dont work because carrying children and raising them, one, two or ten, is seen as the most important job so alphas must provide for everything else (in noble households).
Courting tends to be a lot of showing their dedication to Lexa, so while Lexa can be courted by different alphas at once so she may choose the best one, Costia and Ontari can only court Lexa, which will "weed out" any noble alphas that are clearly not desired by unmated omegas overtime... peer review am i right?!? Shsjdj. But the courting is a lot of showing the family possessions and their fields of work, trying to show their grace and knowledge of dancing, literature, etc.
Clarke is present on most of these dates although she slowly starts to dislike them. At first its fun to see these two alphas try so hard to impress Lexa who is hard to impress by nature. Lexa asks her about them and Clarke likes to make fun of them in private and laugh about their attempts of seducing the omega Clarke knows loves her. But as some of the dates are clearly showing Lexa's favorite (Costia, although her parents favor Ontari. Physically Ontari would give Lexa strong pups, Clarke has confirmed she's bigger than Costia and her work is much more valuable to Lexa family although Lexa much prefers to talk with Costia as she is sweeter and more charming and genuinely looks to like Lexa), Clarke will sometimes be asked to leave because she is clearly showing in her scent how hostile she is towards Costia and Lexa cannot have that. Its tricky becaude its clear Clarke wants to be there due to her protectiveness over Lexa but at the same time she despises having to spend time with the woman that will take Lexa away from her. She only takes solace in the fact that by the time Lexa is mated and has her first child with Costia she'll be long dead.... which :c Lexa hates when Clarke reminds her of that.

After the end of Lady of the Lake, Dandelion felt incredibly guilty and sorry for the lost of his best friend, blaming himself for Geralt’s intervention in the pogrom. So he passed his whole life singing and narrating about the witcher’s deeds
