plot wishlist

1. [ W A R  T A L K S ] Marlene is desperate for war, and being stuck in Hogwarts when the fights are breaking out outside the castle walls is hell for her. Half the words out her mouth are about how much she wants to become a solider, how she wants to join the order. Someone gets frustrated with this (preferably because they, like any sane person, don't want this war to happen) and the two get into a spat.

2.) [ H O W  T O  B E  A  H E A R T B R E A K E R ] Someone has feelings for Marlene, feelings the blonde doesn't return. Maybe she uses them for a quick shag because she's heartless, or merely unaware of how they feel about her, but quickly leaves them behind. Who doesn't fancy a bit of unrequited love?

3.) [ B A T T E R E D ] Marls and her brother were home for the weekend and Mr. McKinnon was particularly drunk, and Marlene has the bruises to prove it. Someone encounters her when the charms she uses to hide the marks have faded and she has to try and explain them away.
