rereading (the first 2/5s of) moby dick bc i got myself a physical copy to mark up etc etc and the thing about the homoeroticism in moby dick is that you just dont expect it to start so early like youre a cultured well rounded worldly creature you know that historically people were up to some gay shit (as is the precise technical terminology) out at sea you just dont expect ishmael to be like "it was the best night of sleep in my life" about sharing a bed with another man on page 27 and for him to wake on page 28 and immediately compare their sleeping situation to a man and his wife. like we havent even gotten on the boat yet

How does this house get full of so much crap?!  I just spent the whole day cleaning, chucking stuff, and organizing, and I only got part of the kitchen and downstairs living room done!  Gahhh!!!

hey sorry i haven’t been posting art or rebloging a lot lately! my house is under some construction and I have to be around the builders as an intermediary due to language barriers with my family.

I’m also working on commissions as much as I can between the chaos and work so I’ll do my best to get back to all of you!
