My boyfriend was going through some doubts in our relationship. He kept saying I could do better...so I went straight from school in Fullerton to his school in Huntington Beach to talk to him. He didn't want me to come...but I told him I was already on my way, to give him something he left at my house. He kept trying to guess, but each answer was incorrect. Once I got to his school's library, he got in the car and asked what it was. I pulled out my backpack, grabbed it from my front zipper, and cupped it in my hand, covered. I had him try to guess one last time. After about 8 guesses, I finally opened my hands.
I drew a heart on the palms of my hands (one half on each side). "You forgot it, it's yours. But you forgot about it." He had me draw the same kind of heart on his palm. He forgot about why we were together in the first place, all that we've been through, and all the promises we've made. He was so focused on what he DIDN'T have to offer, that he forgot about what he DID have.
*Hearts were drawn on digitally because the pen wasn't very visible. PS: Idk why but his pinky fingers look freakin BROKEN ahahaha
